The Birmingham Cave and Crag Club Cavers and Caving Section

Welcome to the caving section of Cave and Crag. 

We are a Birmingham based club but have members spanning most of the county, with a wide ranging and regular meet card.

We cave in most parts of the country, such as the Peak District, Yorkshire, Mendips (Somerset) as well as North and South Wales, Scotland and Ireland.

If you have never tried caving before and you think it’s going to be wet, dark and small… Yes, it can be all of those things.

On the other hand, they can also be big, dry, and very beautiful, so for the novice looking for adventure, we have trips to nice, friendly caves and for those who seek a new sporting experience we can help you too.
